Seven support units currently grace Marvel Rivals, primarily focused on healing and buffing. While Jeff is a familiar face, he's not the only strategic option. Here's the breakdown:

Mantis excels as a support unit, healing allies and applying damage buffs by using orbs (which regenerate automatically; headshots instantly restore one). While effective for both veterans and newcomers, her fragility demands cautious play. Her damage output is limited, focusing primarily on healing and support.

Luna Snow, another S-tier strategist, offers ally healing and the ability to attack enemies. Her Ice Art enhances healing and damage, while her Ultimate, Fate of Both Worlds, creates an AoE effect for either healing or damage. Her straightforward abilities make her ideal for beginners, though her damage potential remains secondary to her support role.

A Tier

Adam Warlock and Cloack & Dagger

Adam Warlock's ability to revive multiple teammates sets him apart. His Ultimate, the Quantum Zone, revives fallen allies with temporary invincibility, even allowing multiple revives of the same character. He also heals with Avatar Life Stream and shares damage with Soul Bond, providing a small heal-over-time effect.

Cloak & Dagger offers a unique blend of support and damage. Cloak's attacks can heal or damage, with self-healing capabilities. Dagger focuses on damage and applying Vulnerability debuffs. Dark Teleportation boosts ally movement speed and provides invisibility.

B Tier

Rocket Raccoon, Jeff, and Loki in Marvel Rivals.

Despite his popularity, Jeff the Land Shark's healing pales compared to higher-tier characters, struggling in extended fights. His simple kit lacks the strategic depth of Mantis or Warlock. He's a good starting point for new players seeking a support role.

Loki, a strong support option, demands skill and strategic thinking. He heals allies and summons decoys that mimic his actions; precise decoy placement is key. His Ultimate allows him to shapeshift into any hero for 15 seconds, utilizing their abilities.

Rocket Raccoon prioritizes utility and damage over pure healing, reviving allies with his Respawn Machine. His high damage output makes him more of a hybrid DPS/support, requiring skillful kit management. His small size makes him a vulnerable target.

Ultimately, the best support unit in Marvel Rivals depends on personal preference and playstyle. This tier list serves as a guide, but enjoyment should be the ultimate deciding factor.

Marvel Rivals is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
