Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Opens Global Pre-Registration for 2025 MMORPG Launch

Japanese publisher A Plus has officially begun pre-registrations for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, the anticipated anime-style MMORPG scheduled for global release in October 2025. Developed by Shanghai Bokura Network Technology, the game simultaneously launches its PC Closed Beta Test today.

The Countdown to Launch Begins

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance builds upon the foundation of its predecessor, the original Blue Protocol that launched exclusively in Japan during 2023.

The original version unfortunately ceased operations after just one year due to struggling player retention, with servers closing in January 2024 and international plans being cancelled.

This revamped edition represents a complete rebirth for the franchise. Publisher A Plus aims to deliver a more robust experience from day one with Star Resonance.

Set in the vibrant world of Magna, players will explore mineral-rich caves for rare crystals, forage medicinal plants, and survive sudden monster attacks. The flexible combat system allows tanking with shields, healing with light magic, and unleashing skill-based attacks.

Players can freely switch combat styles to adapt to different situations, while deep character customization ensures unique appearances in bustling towns.

The game also emphasizes social activities like riverside fishing, festival dancing, and fireworks displays. Endgame content will focus on challenging multiplayer raids against powerful bosses.

Pre-Registrations Now Available

Star Resonance features a completely redesigned mobile interface for touchscreen gameplay while maintaining cross-play compatibility with PC users on shared servers.

With its visually striking anime aesthetic and dynamic combat system, the game shows significant promise. Early registration is currently available through the Google Play Store.
