Don't worry about unused Stars; any remaining Stars not used to open vaults will automatically convert into dice rolls. The maximum conversion is 700+ Stars for 750 dice. Stars exceeding this amount will be lost. Therefore, it's wise to use your Stars to open vaults before the new album begins to maximize your rewards. Here's a breakdown of the available vaults:

How To Get More Stars in Monopoly GO
Duplicate stickers translate into Stars, with the number earned depending on the sticker's rarity. Common stickers yield fewer Stars than rare ones, such as Gold stickers (generally worth double).
