Monopoly drops a new Valentine’s Day themed update with new house rules and a quiz

With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro have crafted an exciting update for Monopoly on Android and iOS devices. Dive into the spirit of love with a host of limited-time features designed to enhance your digital board game experience.

Monopoly’s Valentine’s Day celebration is packed with engaging content, including a unique quiz, a 24-hour free token trial, specialized House Rules, and enticing discounts on select tokens and bundles.

The event’s quiz is your ticket to matching with one of four Monopoly tokens, each symbolizing a different form of love. Upon matching, enjoy a 24-hour trial period with your new token. Should you wish to keep it beyond the trial, it's available at a discounted rate.

Additionally, the House Rules event revamps the traditional gameplay. With Quick Hotels, you can now build hotels after constructing just three houses, rather than the usual four. The Quick End rule concludes the game after the first player goes bankrupt, ensuring a swift finish. Quick Jail lets you escape jail on your first turn, and Starting Title Deeds grants each player three random properties right at the start. To keep the game moving briskly, tax, Chance, and Community Chest spaces are skipped.

Enhance your Valentine’s Day gameplay further with the new set of Cupid-inspired tokens. The Sweethearts bundle introduces two charming cherubs, ready to join the fun on the Monopoly board.
