Hunting behemoths isn't the only way to stay busy in Monster Hunter Wilds. For those seeking the "A Prize Held High" trophy or achievement, the key isn't a fearsome dragon, but a surprisingly unassuming creature: the Curioshell Crab. This little crustacean is your target, and a Capture Net is your weapon of choice.
Pinpointing the Curioshell Crab can be tricky, as it roams various maps. However, the Scarlet Forest offers a reliable hunting ground. Head to Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp (located between Areas 2 and 6). Near the water puddle in this area, the Curioshell Crab frequently spawns. If you're having trouble spotting it, Alma might offer a clue; she'll mention a creature holding something, indicating a nearby Curioshell Crab.
Equip your Capture Net, aim for the orange reticle, and fire! A successful capture nets you both the Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin. Remember, the Curioshell Crab is quick, so anticipate its movements and lead your shots.
While the Scarlet Forest (Area 6 and Area 8) provides good odds, Area 13 of the Windward Plains is another potential location. Keep in mind, it could appear elsewhere, but these areas have proven fruitful in our testing.
That's all you need to know to snag the "A Prize Held High" trophy or achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds. For more Monster Hunter Wilds guides and tips, check out The Escapist.
