New Monster Outbreaks Feature Tested in Monster Hunter Now

Exciting times are ahead for fans of Monster Hunter Now, as Niantic introduces a thrilling new feature called Monster Outbreaks. This innovative gameplay element is currently in the testing phase, where player feedback will help refine it before its official launch. Are you ready to join the hunt?

When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

Mark your calendars! The Monster Outbreaks testing will take place from April 26th to April 27th. Each day, the event will run for two one-hour sessions at 10:00 AM to 10:59 AM and again from 3:00 PM to 3:59 PM, all in your local time. This is your chance to dive into the action!

During these sessions, specific outbreak points on the map will swarm with 8-star Black Diablos. The goal? Team up with fellow hunters to take down 100 of these formidable beasts at each outbreak location within the one-hour window. Remember, this is a local effort, not a global count, so coordination is key!

To participate, you must be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 11. Note that you won't be able to use the party feature; only in-person group hunts will count towards the goal. Outbreak points will be clearly marked on the map with a unique icon, allowing you to tap and view details. A sign-up roster at each location helps coordinate with other players on when to join the fray.

Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!

The mechanics of the slay count are intriguing. If you and three other hunters take down one Black Diablos, that counts as four towards the 100 needed to complete the challenge. If your group reaches the 100 monster goal before the time runs out, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour.

Successful completion of the challenge comes with rewarding loot. Achieve the 100-monster goal, and your group will receive 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Plus, if you use the sign-up roster, you're eligible for the exclusive Outbreak Test I Medal.

Are you excited to take part in this thrilling event? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and join the Monster Outbreaks testing this weekend!
