It was also announced that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, with a launch expected before the year's end.
Developed by Digital Sun and published by 11 bit studios, Moonlighter 2 is an isometric action-adventure RPG with roguelike elements. Players will embark on a thrilling journey to transform their modest shop into a thriving business by exploring dangerous dungeons, collecting rare artifacts, and facing off against formidable foes.
Digital Sun has shared that Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault builds upon the original game's core, introducing more expansive narratives and refined gameplay mechanics. The storyline follows the protagonist, Will, as he searches for his home dimension within the vast world of Trense. Along his journey, Will reconnects with familiar faces and forges new alliances. His quest leads him to encounter a mysterious trader who enlists his help in finding powerful relics, believed to be the key to returning home.
The game's captivating soundtrack is composed by the renowned Chris Larkin, known for his work on Hollow Knight. Fans can look forward to the release of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault later this year on PC (via Steam), Xbox Series, and PS5.
