Mortal Kombat Mobile is hitting a major milestone with its 10th anniversary, and Warner Bros. International and NetherRealm Studios are pulling out all the stops with an update set to launch on March 25th. This update promises a slew of new content, including fresh fighters, an overhaul of Faction Wars, a new challenge tower, and a host of anniversary rewards to celebrate a decade of brutal, fast-paced kombat!
Celebrate 10 Years of Brutal, Fast-Paced Kombat!
The standout feature of this update is the introduction of MK1 Geras as a new diamond-tier fighter. Geras comes packed with a variety of abilities such as power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To get your hands on him, you'll need to dive into the Realm Klash rewards or progress through the Kombat Pass.
Joining the roster is Klassic Skarlet, the first gold-tier fighter that can be fully ascended to Level 5. She boasts unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from her foes. You can acquire her through either the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the regular Kombat Pass.
Faction Wars is getting a facelift and will now be known as Realm Klash. Instead of solely battling for Blood Rubies, you can choose from five different realms and compete to earn Realm Points over two-week seasons.
The 10th Anniversary update also introduces new ranks to Mortal Kombat Mobile: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs now come with new Kameo offers alongside MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has also received a visual update, new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for old exploits.
New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary
The new Tower of Time is an extreme challenge that will run for two weeks and features 50 floors. There are seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces to collect, and both MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras will have their own Brutality equipment sets. Additionally, a Fusion Boost modifier will empower the lowest fused card in your team to help even out the playing field. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are making a comeback.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, starting April 1st, players will receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo every day for 10 days. Three gold-tier fighters, Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke, are now eligible for ascension.
