The Nintendo Switch 2 boasts a larger 7.9-inch screen, matching the original's thickness at 13.9mm, but with double the pixels. It supports a 1080p resolution at up to 120fps in handheld mode and features an LCD screen with HDR capabilities. When docked, the system can deliver stunning visuals at up to 4K resolution with HDR.The Joy-Con 2 controllers have been upgraded with a magnetic connection system and a release button for easy detachment. The SL and SR buttons on the sides are larger for improved comfort in horizontal play, and the analog sticks are also bigger. Additionally, the Joy-Con 2 now officially supports mouse control, adding a new dimension to gameplay.
The Nintendo Switch 2 comes equipped with a built-in microphone featuring noise-canceling technology and supports 3D audio for compatible games. It also includes a more robust and adjustable stand compared to its predecessor. A top USB port enhances versatility, allowing for external camera connectivity and charging the system in tabletop mode.
