Parallel Experiment's Steam launch delayed to June, syncing with Android and iOS releases

By PenelopeMay 15,2025

The eagerly awaited cooperative puzzler, Parallel Experiment, from Eleven Puzzles, initially set to launch on Steam in March, has encountered some unexpected development hurdles. However, fans won't have to wait much longer as the game is now scheduled to release on June 5th across PC, Android, and iOS platforms. This simultaneous launch is especially exciting for mobile gamers who were bracing for potential cutbacks on optional puzzles, additional mechanics, and even the mobile version itself, which were considered to meet the original deadline.

In Parallel Experiment, players step into the shoes of detectives Ally and Old Dog, ensnared in a sinister experiment masterminded by the Cryptic Killer. The only path to escape is through solving an intricate web of interdependent puzzles that demand teamwork and communication. With more than 80 unique challenges, you’ll find yourself deciphering ciphers, manipulating water flows, hacking into systems, and even rousing a slumbering drunk. The game's noir-inspired setting and comic book art style enhance the gripping atmosphere, pulling you into a thrilling race against time.

Beyond the high-stakes puzzles, Parallel Experiment offers moments of levity with retro-style mini-games such as darts, claw machines, and match-three puzzles, each designed with a cooperative twist to challenge and entertain you and your partner.

The game's interactive dialogues add depth to the mystery, with NPCs dynamically responding to the actions of both detectives. And for those who enjoy a bit of mischief, each level provides playful opportunities to tease your partner, from knocking on windows to scribbling amusing doodles in your detective notebook.

Boasting five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous project, Parallel Experiment promises to elevate your cooperative gaming experience. Mark your calendars for the June 5th release and visit the Steam page for more details.
