PG People's Choice Award 2025 Nominations Open Now

If you've been keeping up with the mobile gaming scene, there's a good chance you're already familiar with the Pocket Gamer Awards. Introducing the PG Mobile Games Awards—an annual highlight that honors the very best in the industry across a wide range of categories. From top development tools and support agencies to standout service providers, this event shines a spotlight on the innovation and talent driving the mobile games sector forward.

Now, here’s where things get really exciting for players like you. Among the 23 prestigious categories is the PG People's Choice Award—a special award determined not by industry insiders, but by the community itself. While much of the ceremony focuses on recognizing business achievements, this particular award gives mobile gamers a voice in selecting the most outstanding game release of the past year. After all, who better to judge the best mobile experience than the players who enjoy it every day?

Nominations Are Now Open

Public voting will officially kick off on June 30th and run through to July 31st. But before we reach the voting stage, we need your input to shape the shortlist. That means nominations are currently open—and they’ll remain so until midnight on June 27th. This is your opportunity to nominate your favorite mobile game from the last year. Once the nomination period closes, we'll take a few days to finalize everything before launching the public vote.

After voting ends on July 31st, the results won’t be revealed immediately. Instead, the winner of the PG People's Choice Award will be announced at the official awards ceremony on Tuesday, August 19th, held in Cologne. Can't make it to the event? No problem—we’ll also share the results online, so everyone gets to find out who takes home the trophy.

The past year has been an incredible one for mobile gaming.
