The Primitive Challenge stands out as one of the toughest weekly challenges in Phasmophobia. The key twist here is that you must identify the ghost and finish investigations without any electronic aids, relying solely on your intuition and understanding of ghost behavior.
This challenge takes place at 10 Ridgeview Court, a house-style map with a straightforward layout that makes navigation and finding safety easier. Remember, to fully complete the challenge, you need to successfully conduct three investigations.
Tips & Tricks To Complete Primitive Challenge in Phasmophobia
Navigating the Primitive Challenge requires adapting to a unique set of rules and a limited loadout.
Electronics are off-limits, meaning you'll be without essential tools like Flashlights, DOTs Projectors, and Video Cameras. Additionally, Sanity Medication is unavailable, though you start with a full Sanity meter to help stave off ghost attacks temporarily.

Your provided equipment includes two Tier 1 Crucifixes to prevent ghost hunts, Tier 2 Firelights, and a full set of Tier 1 Incense for additional protection. For evidence gathering, you're equipped with two Tier 3 Ghost Writing books and two Tier 1 "glowstick" UV lights, which double as flashlights and ultraviolet evidence tools. Two Tier 1 thermometers are also available for detecting freezing temperatures.
To identify the ghost, leverage your knowledge of their unique behaviors, as traditional evidence methods are limited. Our no-evidence cheat sheet can be a helpful resource here.

To quickly locate the ghost, take advantage of the increased activity in this challenge. Alternatively, you can use the Ouija Board found in the laundry room on the first floor to ask the ghost about its favorite room. Be cautious, as this action costs 50% of your sanity, and always remember to say "Goodbye" to the board to avoid triggering a Cursed Hunt. This strategy is particularly useful in group settings for added safety.
