PlayStation Plus subscribers have an exciting lineup of new and classic games to explore in the Extra and Premium catalogs, featuring beloved series like Resident Evil, Twisted Metal, and more.
The June 2025 State of Play event unveiled fresh PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 titles joining the ever-evolving roster. Each game is scheduled to release throughout the summer, with several launching day-one on the service.
Leading the pack is Sword of the Sea, a visually striking adventure from the creators of Abzu and The Pathless at Giant Squid. Players glide through vibrant landscapes in a surfing-inspired journey centered on exploration, fluid movement, and enchanting art. It becomes available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members at no additional charge starting August 19, 2025.
Meanwhile, Remedy Entertainment’s FBC: Firebreak offers a new angle on the Control universe, joining the Game Catalog on June 17, 2025, for Premium and Extra subscribers. Alongside these new adventures, the Premium Classics Catalog will welcome a host of retro favorites.
New additions to the Classic Catalog include Deus Ex, Twisted Metal 3, Twisted Metal 4, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. As part of the Days of Play celebrations later this month, Myst and Riven will also become available.
