Marvel Rivals welcomes a surprise collaboration: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!

PlayStation announced this exciting crossover on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' adaptation of the iconic suit for their hero shooter. This stylish Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three installments of the series. Its distinctive white spider emblem makes it instantly recognizable. This unexpected collaboration with Sony and their console-exclusive superhero game solidifies the suit's status.

The Advanced Suit 2.0 will swing into the in-game store on January 30th, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2's PC release.

Marvel Rivals partners with Sony's Spider-Man game.

Marvel Rivals, launched in December, already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. This Spidey suit stands out, particularly due to its connection to the popular PlayStation series. Adding to its appeal, Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor for Peter Parker in Insomniac's Spider-Man trilogy, also voices the character in Marvel Rivals. This ensures a consistent and familiar experience for players.

The addition of the Advanced Suit 2.0 provides another exciting element for players, alongside the Season 1: Eternal Night Falls content released last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every month and a half, promising continued updates.

While awaiting the new Spider-Man suit, explore player-created custom skins, review the Season 1 balance changes, and discover how players utilize the Invisible Woman's abilities to detect suspected bot players.
