Pokémon Go Tour 2024: Journey to Unova Region

By HenryMay 07,2025

The highly anticipated Pokémon Go Tour returns in 2025, focusing on the exciting Unova region. Whether you're attending one of the two in-person events in February or joining the global celebration in March, you're in for new adventures, challenges, and encounters inspired by Pokémon Black and White and their sequels.

The in-person Pokémon Go Tour events are scheduled from February 21st to 23rd, offering two fantastic locations to choose from. Experience the magic at New Taipei Metropolitan Park in Taiwan or at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles. These ticketed events will vividly bring the Unova region to life, featuring seasonal themes, legendary stories, and a plethora of Pokémon to catch.

Tickets for these events are currently available at discounted prices: $25 USD for LA or NT $630 for Taipei. Both events offer exclusive gameplay, and ticket holders can participate in Masterwork Research to encounter Shiny Meloetta for the first time. Additionally, the Egg-thusiast ticket add-on provides extra bonuses, including the chance to hatch Shiny Maractus, Sigilyph, and Bouffalant from 10 km Eggs during the event.

ytShiny Deerling, the Season Pokémon, will also debut during the Unova tour. Its appearances vary by habitat, giving you the opportunity to explore and potentially collect them all. Don't miss out on the Special Research story, which involves the fate of the world and hinges on the actions of Reshiram and Zekrom.

If you can't attend the in-person events, the global Pokémon Go Tour: Unova takes place on March 1st and 2nd. This worldwide event is free and requires no ticket, allowing everyone to dive into the Unova-themed content. The only catch is that you'll need to wait a week after the in-person events.

Prepare for the event by downloading Pokémon Go for free today.
