This marks the first official acknowledgement of the widespread supply issues affecting the international release, originally scheduled for January 17th, 2025.
In a statement to IGN, the company expressed understanding for the disappointment caused by the scarcity. They confirmed that additional Prismatic Evolutions products are being printed at maximum capacity and will soon be distributed to licensed retailers. While the statement cites "high demand" as the reason for the shortages, it avoids directly addressing speculation regarding scalping activities.
