Pokemon GO March 2025 Community Days Details Revealed
Fuecoco Appears in March’s First Community Day
Pokémon GO has announced that Fuecoco will be the star of the first Community Day event on March 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. During this period, Fuecoco will appear more frequently on the map, and there will be an increased chance of encountering its Shiny form.
Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge (via Crocalor) during or within a week after the event will grant it the Charged Attack Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn the Charged Attack Torch Song without any time restrictions.
A Special Background Timed Research will be available, offering an encounter with Fuecoco featuring a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks will further boost the Shiny rate for Fuecoco encounters. The Timed Research must be completed by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm local time.
For $2.00, trainers can access the exclusive Community Day Special Research, which includes three Fuecoco encounters with a Seasonal Special Background, along with Battle Pass and Rare Candies. This ticket can also be purchased and gifted to friends at a Great Friends level or higher.
Pokemon GO Revealed Community Days Dates for March and Beyond
In addition to the Fuecoco event, Pokémon GO has unveiled the schedule for Community Day events from March to May 2025, all occurring on weekends:
- Saturday, March 8, 2025
- Saturday, March 22, 2025 (Community Day Classic)
- Sunday, April 27, 2025
- Sunday, May 11, 2025
- Saturday, May 24, 2025 (Community Day Classic)
Community Day Classic events will feature Pokémon like Ralts, which was originally showcased in August 2019 and reprised in January 2025. Other dates will introduce new Pokémon, though details on these are yet to be announced.

Candela or Arlo: Which One to Choose?
The Beloved Buddies event, which debuted Dhelmise, includes a Timed Research with two distinct paths, each featuring interactions with either Candela of Team Valor or Arlo of Team GO Rocket.
Initial tasks before choosing a path will reward trainers with Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. The subsequent choice of path will lead to different rewards.
The Candela path focuses on enhancing your relationship with your Buddy Pokémon and includes rewards like Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.
The Arlo path, centered around catching Pokémon and battling, offers similar item rewards but includes a Pocket Radar. Pokémon encounters along this path include Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
