Pokémon Go Tests Go Pass in Select Regions

By BlakeMay 21,2025

Get ready, Pokémon Go enthusiasts! A brand-new feature, the Go Pass, is currently being tested in select regions, and it's your chance to dive into a fresh way to earn rewards. Following the successful rollout of the Tour Pass during the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova, this innovative system is poised for a global launch. If you're lucky enough to be in one of the chosen areas, you can participate in the Go Pass: April from April 1st to May 6th and snag some amazing goodies.

Battle passes are all the rage these days, and now Pokémon Go is jumping on the bandwagon. During the event period, you'll be able to accumulate Go Points to advance your pass and unlock a variety of rewards. These include encounters with the majestic Xerneas, as well as essential items like Stardust, XP, and Poké Balls.

The Go Pass comes in two tiers: Free and Deluxe. While the free version offers a solid range of rewards, the Deluxe tier ups the ante with premium bonuses such as a Lucky Trinket, Candy XL, and a suite of useful items like Incubators and Lure Modules. The best part? You can upgrade to Deluxe at any time and claim rewards from all previously unlocked ranks.

As you progress through the Go Pass, you'll hit Major Milestones that unlock additional perks. Tier one extends the duration of Daily Adventure Incense, tier two boosts XP and Stardust from Research Breakthroughs, and tier three increases Stardust and XP from hatching Eggs. And if that's not enough, the ultimate Deluxe reward is another Lucky Trinket, ensuring you can guarantee a Lucky Friend.

Don't miss out on extra freebies! Make sure to redeem these Pokémon Go codes for even more rewards.

Keep in mind that since the Go Pass is still in its testing phase, rewards and structures may differ across regions. Some areas might offer different Pokémon encounters, adjusted item rewards, or even PokéCoins at certain ranks. These variations are crucial for Niantic to perfect the system before its worldwide release.

If you're in an eligible region, this is your golden opportunity to test out the Go Pass before it goes global. Be sure to claim all your earned rewards by May 8th, and don't forget to use your Lucky Trinket before it expires on May 11th!
