PUBG Mobile is gearing up for a monumental update with the release of version 3.8, bringing an expansive wave of fresh content to keep players engaged and excited. The update, available until July 6th, introduces one of the most anticipated collaborations yet — Attack on Titan, delivering immersive gameplay elements inspired by the hit anime series.
In this collaboration, players can transform into towering Titans, stepping into the shoes (or massive feet) of the show’s iconic antagonists. Alongside that comes the legendary Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) Gear, allowing you to zip across the map at high speed and maneuver through the battlefield like never before. And if that wasn’t enough, part two of the collab drops on May 30th, promising even more thrilling additions.
But even if anime isn't your thing, PUBG Mobile’s 3.8 update still has plenty to offer. Dubbed the Dawn of the Steam Era, it ushers in the all-new Steampunk Frontier mode, packed with richly themed environments and mechanical marvels. Traverse the battlefield using a detailed train network, giving you the edge in mobility over rival squads.

That’s not all — the Steampunk Frontier also introduces rollercoaster rides, clockwork attendants that provide unique buffs, and majestic hot air balloons that let you soar above the chaos and scout enemy positions from the skies. Exploration has never been more dynamic or visually striking.
Beyond the core experience, the World of Wonder mode sees the addition of new thematic decorations such as train carriages and tracks, while combat gains a futuristic twist with the inclusion of the Welding Gun and M3E1-A Missile Launcher. Also added are the fierce Velociraptor enemies, offering a new challenge for solo and squad players alike.
Meanwhile, Metro Royale gets its own set of enhancements, including steampunk-themed zones in Arctic Base and Misty Port. A new portable military server feature allows players to hack terminals and gather crucial intel, adding another layer of tactical depth to the gameplay.
