The final day of the Six Invitational is always a highlight for Rainbow Six Siege fans, as Ubisoft traditionally unveils the new operator. This year, the excitement centered around Rauora, the latest addition to the attacking roster hailing from New Zealand.
Rauora's signature gadget is the DOM launcher, a bulletproof shield designed for strategic placement in doorways. While the shield can be destroyed by explosives, it offers a tactical advantage through its trigger mechanism. When shot, the shield's response time varies: it opens in one second for attackers, providing a swift entry point, but takes three seconds for defenders, potentially critical when the defuser is in play.

Alongside her unique gadget, Rauora introduces the Reaper MK2, a fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and an enlarged magazine. For her primary weapons, players can choose between the powerful M249 LMG or the precise 417 marksman rifle.
Enthusiasts eager to try out Rauora can access her on the test servers starting next week. However, those playing on the live version of the game will need to wait a bit longer for her official release.
