How to Start Thrown to the Dogs in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

First, if you pre-ordered Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you’ll gain access to a special mission called Thrown to the Dogs. This quest becomes available once you assume control of Naoe and enter the open world for the first time.

Follow the quest marker on your map to locate the dog, then trail it to a farm. Search beneath the house for a key, then return to the gravesite where the dog was waiting. After this, you’ll befriend the dog and the quest will be complete.

If you’re struggling to find the key, check for a small crawlspace at the base of the house. Naoe can crouch and crawl inside to retrieve the key. It’s not immediately obvious, so it’s easy to overlook.
