Killer7, a 2005 action-adventure game for GameCube and PlayStation 2, captivated players with its blend of horror, mystery, and Suda51's signature over-the-top style. The game follows Harman Smith, a man capable of manifesting seven distinct personalities, each with unique abilities and weaponry. Despite its cult following, a sequel has remained elusive. Even after the 2018 PC remaster, Suda51 has voiced his interest in revisiting and expanding upon his original vision.

Suda51 proposed a "Complete Edition" of Killer7, an idea Mikami playfully dismissed as "lame." However, the discussion revealed that the original vision included extensive dialogue for the character Coyote, a potential addition to this Complete Edition.

The possibility of both a sequel and a complete edition has ignited considerable excitement among fans. While nothing is confirmed, the developers' enthusiasm alone is enough to fuel anticipation for the future of Killer7.

Mikami believes a Complete Edition would be well-received, to which Suda51 replied, "We’ll have to decide which comes first, Killer7: Beyond or the Complete Edition."
