S8UL to Represent India at WCS Finals After Pokémon Unite Qualifiers

By ChristianJun 26,2025

The Pokémon Unite World Championship Series (WCS) is gaining momentum as S8UL secures their spot to represent India on the global stage. After a tough showing in the Asia Champions League, where the team failed to qualify for the ACL finals, S8UL has made a strong comeback through the local qualifiers and will now travel to the United States this August to compete in the WCS Finals.

This marks a significant turnaround for the Indian squad, who faced an uphill battle during the qualifiers after dropping their opening match. Forced into the lower bracket, they had to fight hard against teams like Team Dynamis, QML, and Revenant XSpark before ultimately earning their place at the world championship. Their resilience and determination have clearly paid off, giving fans in India something to cheer about.

S8UL isn't new to international competition either—they were also set to represent India in the 2024 WCS but unfortunately couldn’t attend due to visa complications ahead of the event in Honolulu. With travel restrictions and visa challenges still a concern, especially for U.S.-bound events, hopes are high that the team will be able to make it this time and finally showcase their skills on the world stage.
