The PlayStation Portal, a handheld gaming accessory designed for the PS5, has caught attention for its unique features and potential savings. While it hasn’t seen a discount since its release, Amazon Resale offers a pre-owned version in "Like New" condition for $158.70—a significant 20% off the retail price of $199. Although a Sony warranty may not always be included, Amazon Resale items come with the same 30-day return policy as new purchases.

This device looks and functions as good as new, with only minor packaging damage noted during inspection. The PS Portal resembles an extended DualSense controller featuring an 8-inch 1080p LCD screen. By connecting to your PS5, it streams games at up to 60fps, complete with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and a touchscreen interface. It’s not a standalone system but rather a remote for your PS5. However, Sony recently updated its functionality to allow streaming from PlayStation Now, expanding its library to over 120 games without needing a PS5.

Seth Macy, reviewing the device, praised its versatility and convenience, though he noted limitations such as lack of Bluetooth audio and WiFi login via web browsers. He highlighted its appeal for PS5 owners looking to play on the go or avoid TV conflicts.

DualSense controllers are also available at Lenovo, offering savings of 32% off the original price. Use the code 'PLAY5' to get controllers in Sterling Silver, Volcanic Red, or Cobalt Blue for $54 each.
