Seedsow Lullaby is a captivating new visual novel now available globally on Android, developed by Aniplex, the acclaimed Japanese studio behind titles like Adabana Odd Tales. This emotionally rich narrative weaves a time-bending tale across three generations of a single family, blending mystery, emotion, and myth into a deeply personal journey.
Seedsow Lullaby: A Story Woven Through Time
At its heart, Seedsow Lullaby explores the enduring bonds of family and the weight of legacy. The story follows Misuzu, a 16-year-old girl who lost her mother at a young age. Her world shifts when, in 2023, a mysterious visitor arrives—Yoko, a 16-year-old girl claiming to be Misuzu’s mother, who has traveled from 1996.
Yoko reveals that Misuzu has been chosen to participate in the Seedsow Ceremony—an ancient ritual meant to honor fallen gods and prevent the spread of True Winter, a malevolent force consuming the divine realm. As the story unfolds, Misuzu is transported to the year 2050, where she meets her daughter, Tsumugi, also 16. Completing the group is Hiruko, a boy who claims to be Yoko’s unborn son and Misuzu’s never-born brother, serving as their guide through the supernatural.
Their destination is the Eternal Realm—the mythical home of the gods, depicted through lush, vibrant landscapes that evoke a dreamlike journey. This otherworldly setting forms the backdrop for the Seedsow Ceremony and the emotional core of the game.
A Visual Experience Like No Other
Seedsow Lullaby stands out with its cinematic presentation. The art style and fluid transitions between scenes give the experience the feel of a beautifully animated Japanese film. Characters move through richly detailed environments, enhancing the sense of progression and emotional depth.
Though it follows a linear narrative without player choices or branching paths, the storytelling is immersive and impactful. Available in English, Japanese, and simplified Chinese, the game is free to play and ready to experience on the Google Play Store.
