Recently, The Sims team dropped a teaser filled with nods to the first two games in the series, sparking speculation among fans that these beloved classics could make a comeback. Although there's no official word yet, insiders at Kotaku hint that EA and Maxis Games could unveil digital PC versions of The Sims 1 and 2, complete with all their original expansion packs, by week's end.
Should these rumors hold true, the big question is whether EA will also bring these titles to consoles, and if so, when? Given the lucrative nature of nostalgia, it seems unlikely that EA would miss this opportunity to tap into the fond memories of long-time fans.
