Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

Following the thrilling Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has just rolled out an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions. This update introduces two fresh faces to the arena: Spider-Woman, who swings into action on April 17th, and Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025, debuting on April 9th. Both characters bring unique abilities to the game, with Spider-Woman offering her spider-enhanced prowess and espionage skills, and Lumatrix dazzling as a deadly assassin with light manipulation powers crafted by The Founders.

Lumatrix's addition to your team isn't just about adding flair; their lethal abilities demand strategic gameplay. To recruit Lumatrix, you'll need to gather Light Essence, available through Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids. This event runs through June 4th, so make sure to collect enough essence to secure this formidable champion.

The update also introduces the new Spy Games quest, where Black Widow recruits Spider-Woman to delve into the mysterious arrival of the Eidols. Navigate through a maze of danger and deceit as these elite spies unravel the sinister secrets behind Lumatrix's dazzling displays. This thrilling event runs from March 9th to May 7th.

Adding to the excitement, Deadpool joins the fray with the Red & Dead’s Discount Shed event, running from April 25th to May 2nd. Convinced by Red Guardian, Deadpool is ready to share his stash of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards via Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, dive into the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, shaking up the seven-day supply drop from April 18th through May 2nd. By achieving milestones, you can earn Poolshields, exchangeable for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Keep an eye out for daily supply drops from April 25th to May 23rd; regular logins mean more free rewards for you!
