If you're a veteran *The Sims 4* player, you likely know the location of your local museum. For newcomers, simply open your map and look for a building marked with an icon featuring pillars. There are four default museums, but the best ones to visit for this event are Municipal Muses in Willow Creek and The Future’s Past in Oasis Springs, as they are conveniently located near other Blast from the Past tasks.

How To Study a Historical Display in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event

Upon arriving at a museum, head inside to start studying. Both paintings and sculptures count as Historical Displays in *The Sims 4*. Choose the one that piques your interest and click on it. The game will then prompt you to "View" the Historical Display, and you'll know you've completed the challenge when the Emit icon appears.

Despite the simplicity of the task, numerous players are facing difficulties. It appears that mods are interfering with the "View" button, preventing players from completing the study action. Many are even removing all mods in an attempt to progress through the event, yet some are still encountering issues. We hope that EA is aware of this glitch and working on a fix. In the meantime, the best strategy is to attempt to study as many items as possible at different museums.
