Tony Hawk Eyes Remake of 'Tony Hawk's Underground'

If you've been yearning for a return to Tony Hawk's Underground, you're not alone—legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk is also pushing for a remake. "I always have aspirations," Hawk shared with ScreenRant. "It's not up to me generally. I'll campaign all I can, but I'm working with a much bigger company that's a lot smarter than me."

When pressed about what might come next after the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, Hawk played it coy, stating, "We haven't even released this game [yet]!"

Tony Hawk's Underground, released in 2003, earned a stellar 9.2 review score from us at the time, praised for its "virtually flawless" level design and "stellar gameplay." It was revolutionary for the series, allowing players to dismount their boards and explore the expansive levels on foot.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is slated to launch on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One on July 11, 2025.
