Ubisoft Delays Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division Mobile to 2025

By AuroraDec 10,2024

Ubisoft delays the release of Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence. The games, initially slated for a 2024-2025 release, will now launch after Ubisoft's fiscal year 2025 (FY25), meaning a release sometime in 2025.

This postponement, detailed in a recent financial report, aims to minimize competition within the already saturated tactical shooter market. The games are reportedly nearing completion, but Ubisoft seeks a more opportune launch window to maximize their market impact. The earliest possible release is now projected to be after April 2025, the end of FY25.

This decision comes as other major tactical shooters, such as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, are preparing for release. Ubisoft's strategy prioritizes strong initial performance, avoiding a crowded market launch.

The delay will undoubtedly disappoint fans eagerly awaiting the mobile versions of these popular franchises. However, pre-registration for both games remains open. Meanwhile, players can explore our curated list of the best and most anticipated mobile games of 2024 to fill the gap.
