Since her debut in the 2000s, virtual idol Hatsune Miku has taken the world by storm. Her popularity extends to mobile gaming, as shown by her latest collaboration with the action RPG Unison League. Running until May 30th, the event brings Miku and other Vocaloid stars into the game.
The collaboration features Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, and Megurine Luka as playable characters, each with exclusive collaboration outfits. During the event, players can obtain 160 free Collab Spawns, alongside special stickers and collaboration items.
Additionally, an exclusive EX animation lets your character wield a megaphone for a musical flair. Also, keep an eye out for collaboration cosmetics from the Unison League fashion brands Maid in Maiden and Made in Mister.
World is hersThis collaboration highlights the lasting appeal of the Vocaloid brand and the ongoing popularity of crossover events. Unison League has experience with such partnerships, having previously collaborated with major series like Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.
Decades after her debut, and at a time when AI is often seen as the future of art, it's remarkable that the mascot of a voice synthesiser software remains immensely popular with fans in Japan and across the globe.
