Marvel Rivals Season 1: Free Skins, New Characters, and More!
NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a generous surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City sets the stage, with the Fantastic Four leading the charge against the vampire lord. The season runs from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.
This season introduces the full Fantastic Four to the game's roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, while Human Torch and The Thing arrive in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class character.
Players can obtain the free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics by completing in-game quests and earning Chrono Tokens. These skins are located on pages three and nine of the battle pass, respectively. While the battle pass itself costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), these skins are obtainable without purchasing the premium version. Note that while Scarlet Witch's emote is free, her MVP animation requires the premium pass. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin through quest completion.
The in-game shop also features new premium skins for Invisible Woman (Malice) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker), both with villainous redesigns. The enthusiastic response from fans highlights the exciting new content in Marvel Rivals' first season.
