Mastering Magic in Fields of Mistria
The spellcasting mechanic becomes accessible only after reaching Floor 10 in the Mines. Before attempting this, you'll need to help the town achieve Rank 10 by earning sufficient Renown points.
As you descend to the tenth mine level, Caldarus will appear and initiate your magical training. This pivotal moment grants you the Full Restore spell - a life-saving ability that completely replenishes health and stamina with a single cast.
Additional spells become available as you progress through the story, explore deeper mine levels, and dismantle elemental Seals. With future updates promising more magical content, this guide will expand to cover new spells as they're introduced.
Monitor your spell collection through the Journal's Spells tab (indicated by a sparkle icon). While one spell can remain readily accessible on your HUD, others require opening your Journal for activation.
