Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's new release window is October 2025, as announced on the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, along with a video update. In the video, Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights into the current state of the game, stating, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox has been actively engaging the community with Dev Diaries that detail the game’s characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's quality, all Dev Diary updates will be paused, allowing the development team to focus on enhancing the game's overall experience.
First Revealed in 2019
Originally announced in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially planned for a March 2020 release. Developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time, the game faced its first delay to an unspecified date in 2020, followed by further delays into 2021. Amidst these delays, several key team members departed the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive made the significant decision to shift development from Hardsuit Labs to The Chinese Room. Subsequent release dates were adjusted from late 2024, to the first half of 2025, and now to October 2025.
