BioWare has currently shelved plans for downloadable content (DLC) for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. However, creative director John Epler hinted at the possibility of a remastered Dragon Age collection.
BioWare's Focus Shifts to Mass Effect 5; No Veilguard DLC Planned
Remastered Dragon Age Collection Remains a Possibility
According to a recent Rolling Stone article, BioWare has confirmed no DLC is planned for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The game is considered "complete," and BioWare's resources are now dedicated to the next Mass Effect title.
While specifics regarding future Veilguard DLC remain undisclosed, Epler addressed the potential for a remastered Dragon Age collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He acknowledged the significant challenge posed by the proprietary game engines used in the original Dragon Age trilogy, stating, "It’s something that’s not going to be as easy as Mass Effect, but we do love the original games. Never say never."
