To begin this journey, pick up the side quest "Lackey" from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek’s home, located to the west of Tachov. Alternatively, you can start the quest by speaking with Vitek, who is slightly southeast of the house (marked by a 'B' on the map above). Zlata will send you to him anyway, so it's a straightforward start. From there, head north to find Vostatek being attacked by wolves.

Searching for Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Once you've saved Vostatek from the wolves, he'll ask you to carry him to his camping spot where his horse, Pepik, is tied up. Following his directions is simple, but keep an eye on your stamina; if it gets too low, you'll drop Vostatek.

Upon reaching the campsite, Vostatek discovers that Pepik is missing. Your next task is to follow the traces of Pepik along the path. As you near each clue, you'll get a prompt to examine it. After inspecting each clue, continue following the path until you reach a poacher's camp.

As Vostatek suspected, Pepik has been taken by poachers in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. You'll find him at the back of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers move around, allowing you to fight them in smaller groups of one or two at a time rather than all at once. Those who roam the edges of the camp are easier targets, and many will beg for mercy before you dispatch them. If you prefer, you can bypass the tougher opponents in the center of the camp and ride Pepik away before they can react. Note that there's no chance to rest between the wolf fight and finding Pepik, so your health might be low depending on the outcome of the earlier battle.

Return Pepik to Vostatek’s camp. When you speak with him, you'll have the option to ride back to his home with him, which serves as a fast travel method. At his home, you'll be rewarded with Groschen and the offer of a place to stay whenever you need it.

Having successfully found Pepik for Vostatek in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you're now free to pursue other quests or perhaps a romance. The money you've earned also allows you to purchase additional equipment if needed.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
