About Yellowjackets
Yellowjackets follows an elite women's soccer team whose plane crashes in the remote Canadian wilderness. The series unfolds across two timelines: the teenagers' desperate struggle for survival and the adult survivors' reckoning with their traumatic past twenty-five years later. While fictional, the show draws inspiration from real-life events, particularly the 1972 Andes flight disaster (similarly depicted in Netflix's Oscar-nominated "Society of the Snow").
