Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup for 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departures. The January additions include a mix of genres, catering to a wide range of player preferences.

New Games Arriving in January 2025:

The lineup boasts seven new games, with varying release dates throughout the month:

• Road 96: Available now (January 7th) for all Game Pass tiers (including PC). This choice-driven adventure game makes a welcome return to the service.
• Lightyear Frontier (Preview): January 8th. A sci-fi farming and exploration title in early access, available with a Standard subscription.
• My Time at Sandrock: January 8th. Another addition available with a Standard subscription.
• Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders: January 8th. Available with a Standard subscription.
• Rolling Hills: January 8th. Available with a Standard subscription.
• UFC 5: January 14th. Exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
• Diablo: January 14th. Exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users.

Rumors surrounding Diablo and UFC 5 have been confirmed, although their availability is limited to higher-tier subscriptions.

New Game Pass Perks:

Alongside the new games, several new Game Pass Ultimate perks are available, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC packs for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:

While new games arrive, some are departing. The following titles will be removed from the service on January 15th:

• Common'hood
• Escape Academy
• Exoprimal
• Figment
• Insurgency Sandstorm
• Those Who Remain
