A recent leak suggests a thrilling new event for Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 update, featuring a unique platformer game mode. This temporary event, tentatively titled "Grand Marcel," is rumored to incorporate multiplayer platforming challenges reminiscent of Fall Guys.

Version 1.4, released in early December, introduced two new playable characters and an S-Rank Bangboo, alongside two permanent battle-focused modes. However, Zenless Zone Zero is known for its temporary event modes offering diverse gameplay experiences. The current "Bangboo vs Ethereal" event, a tower defense mode, exemplifies this trend. This new leak points towards a similar, but significantly different, temporary addition.

Leaker Palito has shared screenshots showcasing stages strikingly similar to Fall Guys. While the leak confirms a multiplayer platformer, it remains unclear whether players will control their usual characters or perhaps the popular Bangboo. The event is anticipated to offer substantial rewards, including Polychromes and potentially additional free character pulls, already rumored for Version 1.5.

This isn't HoYoverse's first foray into platformer events. Honkai Impact 3rd's 2022 "Midnight Chronicle" event, featuring chibi characters in Fall Guys-style stages, provides a precedent. Given the popularity of Bangboo in Zenless Zone Zero, their inclusion in this new mode is a strong possibility.

The Version 1.5 update, slated for January 22nd, will also introduce the highly anticipated characters Astra Yao and Evelyn. Previous leaks hinted at Nicole's first character skin and a potential Agent Story for Ellen, adding further excitement to the upcoming content. The addition of a platformer event further diversifies the gameplay and promises a fresh, engaging experience for players.
