Sunday School Lessons

This app provides audio-visual Sunday School lessons based on materials from the AIC Sunday School Committee in Juba, Southern Sudan. Adapted and approved by the Africa Inland Church, Sudan, and Global Recordings Network Australia, these lessons are designed to accompany Global Recordings Network's picture books (also available in the 5fish app).

Originally created to assist young Sunday School teachers, the lessons utilize visual aids for effective teaching. Key app features include:

• Comprehensive Curriculum: 226 Bible lessons across 9 books, based on the "Good News" and "Look, Listen, and Live" programs.
• Search Functionality: Easily locate lessons by title.
• Teacher Resources: Detailed instructions and guidance for each lesson.
• Audio & Visual Support: English audio recordings and accompanying images for each lesson.
• Offline Access: Access lesson content offline (audio requires an internet connection).

Each lesson is approximately twenty minutes long, focusing on a specific aspect of Biblical teaching suitable for children aged 7-12. The app provides the core lesson; teachers are encouraged to supplement with songs, prayers, Bible readings, and other activities. A short prayer and song related to the lesson are recommended for conclusion.

The concise lesson outlines are intentionally brief, allowing teachers to expand upon the material during their preparation. Each lesson highlights one or two key truths about God, building a progressive understanding for the children. The lesson is intended as a teaching guide, not a script to be read verbatim.
