Application Description

Tarneeb is a card game played by two teams of two players each, seated opposite one another. A standard 52-card deck is used, and play proceeds counter-clockwise. The goal is for each player to estimate the number of "Allmat" (tricks) their team can win in each round.

The player who wins the bid to declare "Tarneeb" (trump) starts by discarding a type of paper onto the floor. Other players must then discard papers of the same type. The player who successfully matches the paper type wins the "Bamh" (trick). "Tarneeb" papers are considered superior to other paper types; the player who discards the highest-ranking "Tarneeb" paper wins unless a stronger "Tarneeb" paper is played.

A round ends when all players have discarded. Points are tallied. A team only scores if they successfully achieve or exceed their bid for "Allmat". If successful, the number of "Allmat" won is added to their score; the opposing team receives no points. If unsuccessful, the bid amount is subtracted from their score, and the number of "Allmat" won by the opposing team is added to their score.

If either team achieves a "WIG 13" (winning 13 tricks) without bidding for 13, they receive 16 points. If they bid for and achieve 13 tricks, they receive 26 points. Failure to achieve a bid of "WIG 13" results in a 16-point deduction.

The game concludes when a team reaches a total score of 41 or more points; that team is declared the winner.
