Adin Ross Recommits to Kick, Hints at "Bigger" Plans
Popular streamer Adin Ross has definitively ended speculation about his future, confirming his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform indefinitely. Ross's recent absence from Kick, spanning several months in 2024, fueled rumors of a potential departure, even suggesting a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven. However, his return with a new livestream alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy on the weekend of January 4th, 2025, marked a decisive shift. This marked his first stream in 74 days.
Ross's commitment to Kick was solidified during a December 21st, 2024 livestream with Craven and further reinforced in a recent tweet assuring fans he's "staying for good this time." This puts to rest months of uncertainty surrounding his future on the platform.
The streamer's return is even more significant given his announcement of "something even bigger" in the pipeline. While details remain scarce, many speculate this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a venture he intends to expand with Kick's support. Past legal issues with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024 highlight the potential challenges, but the prospect of a successful partnership with Kick offers a promising outlook.
Ross's decision is a significant boost for Kick, which is aggressively pursuing growth in the streaming market. As co-founder Bijan Tehrani recently stated, Kick's ultimate ambition is to surpass or acquire Twitch – a bold goal that, given their current momentum and high-profile partnerships, seems increasingly plausible. Ross's continued presence is a key component of this ambitious strategy.
