"AFK Journey Teams Up with Fairy Tail for May Launch"

Exciting news for fans of AFK Journey! The game is gearing up for its first-ever crossover event, and it's with none other than the beloved Japanese manga series, Fairy Tail, created by Hiro Mashima. This collaboration is set to add a magical twist to the game, making it even more engaging for players.

Who Are the Guests in AFK Journey’s First Crossover with Fairy Tail?

The crossover event is bringing in two of Fairy Tail's most iconic characters: Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia. Both characters will join the game as part of the new Dimensional faction, adding a fresh dynamic to the existing gameplay.

Natsu, known for his fiery and indomitable spirit, is confirmed to be an S-level character. His high tier reflects his powerful 'burn everything to the ground' attitude. Lucy, on the other hand, will be an A-level character, making her more accessible to players. While their specific roles or classes remain under wraps, their arrival is sure to shake up the game's meta and provide exciting new strategies for players to explore.

When Is the Crossover Launching?

Mark your calendars—Android users can dive into the AFK Journey x Fairy Tail collaboration starting May 1st, 2025. Although the duration of the event hasn't been disclosed yet, the developers have released an enticing trailer that you can watch below.

AFK Journey, unlike its predecessor AFK Arena, offers a 3D open-world RPG experience. Seeing Fairy Tail characters in 3D rather than the traditional flat anime-style images is a treat that players are sure to appreciate.

Currently, AFK Journey is running an event called Justice Descends, where you can meet the new Celestial Hero, Athalia, and collect Stellar Crystals and Temporal Essences. Additionally, the Dawnlight Revelry event is underway, offering even more rewards. Be sure to check out the game on the Google Play Store to join in on the fun.
