The iconic strategy franchise, *Age of Empires Mobile*, continues to expand with the introduction of its new Mercenaries System, granting players greater control and enhanced power over their armies. This innovative feature allows players to strategically enhance their gameplay by integrating powerful mercenary units into their forces.
At Level 26, players gain access to the Mercenary Camp, where they can contract and recruit these formidable warriors. Not only can players enlist mercenaries, but they can also unlock and upgrade technologies specific to these units, further strengthening their army.
Each mercenary group comes with its own set of unique skills, providing diverse tactical advantages:
Byzantine Cataphract:
- Increase the damage of all hero skills of the army by [2%]
- After the troops inflict skill damage, all damage received by our troops is reduced by [3.5%] for [3] seconds
Swiss Pikeman:
- Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
- Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]
Korean Archer:
- Increase the probability of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills of all troops by [1%]
- Reduce all damage received by troops by [2%]
Players can secure their first Mercenaries at no cost by participating in a special event that is currently live alongside the system's launch.
