Dynasty Warriors Origins: A New Chapter in 2025
Omega Force, the studio behind the Dynasty Warriors series, is developing "Dynasty Warriors Origins," a tactical action game set during the Three Kingdoms period. This marks the first mainline Dynasty Warriors entry since 2018's Dynasty Warriors 9, and will launch in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). The game features a "Nameless Hero" protagonist.

Besides "Dynasty Warriors Origins," Koei Tecmo confirmed the global release of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake" (October 2024, PS4, PS5, Switch, PC) and "FAIRY TAIL 2" (Winter 2024, PS4, PS5, Switch, PC). The report also mentions multiple unannounced projects, including at least one AAA title.
