Exploring the Atuel River Valley
Atuel immerses players in the breathtaking yet climate-change-affected Atuel River Valley in Argentina. This isn't your typical game; it's an experience. You'll shapeshift, becoming various animals and elements within the ecosystem, intimately connecting with the landscape. One moment you're soaring through the skies, the next you're flowing as the river itself.
The game seamlessly integrates real-life interviews with historians, biologists, geologists, and local residents, offering profound insights into the region's history, current state, and its climate-altered future. Matajuegos collaborated with The 12.01 Project, an international documentary team, to bring these compelling stories to life.
Atuel's visually stunning landscapes, inspired by the Cuyo desert, create an almost otherworldly atmosphere. The game's unique art style is a significant contributor to its overall impact.
While you wait for Android pre-registration, explore the Steam page or official website for more information. The mobile version will feature localization in seven new languages and full controller support.
