Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its round-based survival mode with a fresh Zombies map, marking it the fifth addition to the game. The sneak peek was shared via the official Call of Duty X (Twitter) account and Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studio's X (Twitter) on March 12, 2025. The teaser image showcased the front of a grand mansion, visibly damaged with flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and internal fires.
The post is captioned with "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" and tagged with "#Zombies." Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a well-known character from the series, played a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War. As Black Ops 6 is a remake of that title, it's fitting that Eddie will make a return.
