Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Based on Iconic Horror Manga
Prepare for a chilling collaboration! Dead by Daylight (DbD), the popular asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, is partnering with legendary Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito to bring his iconic creations to life as in-game skins.
Eight Frightening Skins Await
This "ultimate horror collaboration" features eight new skins inspired by Ito's renowned works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." The Killers receiving new skins are The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. Importantly, The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with unique audio and sound effects. The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, while The Artist will become Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also join the collection.
Junji Ito himself participated in bringing his characters to the game. A video on the official Dead by Daylight X (formerly Twitter) account shows Ito's delighted reaction to seeing his creations in DbD, commenting on how they became even more terrifying in their new form. He even tried the game himself, playing as The Artist with her Miss Fuchi skin.
The Junji Ito collection launches January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Get ready to face your fears!
