[BREAKING NEWS] NetEase Announces EOS for Dead By Daylight Mobile

NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially ending its run. After four years, the Android version will be shutting down on March 20th, 2025. This news comes as a surprise to many fans of the 4v1 asymmetrical horror-survival title, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful PC and console game. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.

Dead by Daylight Mobile offered players the thrilling experience of playing as either a Killer, hunting down Survivors, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture. The game's unique blend of suspense and action captivated players since its April 2020 mobile launch.

Dead by Daylight Mobile's End of Service (EOS) Timeline:

  • January 16th, 2025: The game will be removed from app stores.
  • March 20th, 2025: Servers will shut down permanently.

Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date. NetEase will provide information regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional laws.

For those wanting to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package for new players. Existing mobile players may also receive loyalty rewards for transferring their progress.

Before the servers go dark, consider downloading Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store for a final taste of the action. For more gaming news, check out our article on the new dungeon-building game, Tormentis Dungeon RPG, on Android.
