Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Streamlines Camo Progression with New Tracking Feature
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature that simplifies camo progression: Camo Challenge Tracking. This helpful tool significantly reduces the grind towards coveted camos like Dark Matter and Nebula.
This new system, detailed in the patch notes, allows players to manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges simultaneously. But the real benefit lies in its "Near Completion" functionality, notifying players of nearly finished challenges even if they aren't actively tracked.
Tracking Challenges: A Step-by-Step Guide
To track a camo or calling card challenge, simply navigate to the desired challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation). This adds it to your tracker, allowing you to monitor progress during matches instead of constantly checking the main menu.
Even without manually tracking a challenge, the game automatically highlights those closest to completion. These near-complete challenges are also conveniently listed in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.
Simplified Camo Unlocking
Season 2 also simplifies the process of unlocking special camos. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. However, two special camos remain a prerequisite for mastery camos.
This update directly addresses player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch's responsiveness to player concerns promises a more enjoyable and efficient camo unlocking experience in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
